Changing Portal IP to show as hostname

Overview

This article describes the steps to change Portal IP to show as hostname.

Solution

To set the new IP for your portal, follow the steps below:

1. Add the new IP via the server (Nativeadmin > Portal > Add > http://<<DOMAIN_OR_IP>>/PORTALADMIN). This will make the Portal accessible. The configurations of the portal are held on the machine itself and thus you should retain them.

2. As the next step, go to Nativeadmin > Portal > Summary and remove the previous IP.
