Comments Appearing with "Edit Comments" and "Show Comments" De-Selected

Overview

On Xinet 2020.7, you notice that disabling the "View Comments" or "Edit Comments" options for your Xinet Volumes does not properly hide this field within the asset details pane within Xinet Portal. Users are incorrectly able to see and add comments to your assets.

Solution

The Development Team addressed this behavior with the Volume comment configuration within the 2021.4 release of Xinet.

Please Upgrade your Xinet Installation to 2021.4 or later to resolve this behavior.
