Overview

In Xinet, when running a Batch Report on an attached landscape asset with annotations added, the annotation text is unreadable, deformed, and seems to run vertically in the resulting PDF file. See the image below for an example.

Solution

The issue was fixed in Xinet version 2021.4. Upgrade Xinet Server and Portal to version 2021.4 or later using the steps outlined in Upgrading Xinet.

Testing

After the upgrade is complete, run a Batch Report on an annotated landscape file and check that the text is no longer malformed.
