Overview
In earlier versions of Xinet (v19.2.1 - v2021.4), assigning certain language localization to a user causes several Portal UI elements to no longer display for the user, as shown below. Only the English, Portuguese, Classic, Danish, Polish, and Swedish language assignment options are unaffected by this issue.
Solution
The Development Team isolated the issue to non-standard encoding within some of the language.js files used by Xinet Portal in these earlier releases.
To resolve the trouble, upgrade your installation of Xinet Server and Portal to version 2021.5 or later. See Downloading Xinet Installers for steps on how to achieve this.
Testing
Open the portal, assign a different language to a user and check the Portal view to ensure it displays properly.
