Overview

After upgrading to Xinet version 2020.5, Marquee website displays an HTTP 500. No errors appear on the license page and restarting the service does not fix the issue.

The following errors might also appear on the Portal Admin or httpd error log:
PHP Fatal error: This file has expired. in /usr/etc/portal/PORTALADMIN/index.php on line 0

PHP Fatal error:  This file has expired. in /usr/etc/portal/PORTAL/STARTUP.php on line 0”

PHP Fatal error: This file has expired. in /var/www/html/marquee/index.php on line 0

Solution

The issue was solved in Xinet version 2020.5.106. It is recommended to upgrade to the latest version, the installation package can be downloaded by following the steps outlined in Downloading Xinet Installers.

Testing

After the installation is finished, proceed to the platform to make sure the error message does not persist.
