The Xinet service (also known as Xinet WebNative Suite) contains the following sub-services:

At times, administrators might be interested in stopping or starting the Xinet service, and consequently, the sub-services to do the maintenance tasks on the server where it is installed.
This article provides the commands to stop and start the Xinet service.
Process
- Run the following command to stop the Xinet service:
/etc/init.d/xinet stop
- To start the service, run the following command:
/etc/init.d/xinet start
