Storage Solutions for Xinet

Overview

This article provides information for agents to offer to Xinet customers who are interested in upgrading to a new storage solution with better capabilities. In these circumstances, customers may want to know that a particular storage solution works with Xinet, as well as the level of performance they should expect while running the application.

Storage Solution Compatibility and Performance

• Northplains does not certify any specific storage solution to work with Xinet.
• Any storage solution chosen by the customer must be mounted in the Linux server where Xinet is installed, and it needs to provide permissions to lock or unlock files and to write invisible files.
• We do not recommend any specific storage solution to work with Xinet. However, neither do we have records of customers reporting issues with any particular storage solution.
