Features

While no new features were introduced in this version, it includes significant improvements in search functionality and platform stability.

Bugfixes

• XINET-23690: Fixed issue with 'Does not contain' operand of Portal Advanced Search.
• XINET-23247: Upgraded Ghostscript from version 9.07 to 9.52 to enhance performance and security.
• XINET-23660: Resolved issue of versions being lost when an asset is overwritten via a mounted SMB drive.
• XINET-23688: Corrected malfunction in boost factor within quick search when 'Current folder only' option is selected.
• XINET-23797: Fixed broken Solr search functionality when field49 is searchable.

Installation

The latest Xinet installation files can be found on the IgniteTech software distribution portal. Installation instructions are available in the Knowledge Base. Additionally, Xinet Adobe plugins are available for download from the Adobe Exchange website.

Certified Platforms

This release supports the following platforms:

Server

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Server 64-bit version 7.8
• CentOS Linux 64-bit version 7.0 (2023)

File server connections require Samba v4.12.0 and portal site generation is supported on PHP 7.4.

Client

• Operating Systems: Mac OS 10.15 and Windows 10
• Supported Browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox (current latest versions for supported operating systems)

Xinet Adobe Plugins

The following plugins are supported:

• MacOS: Adobe InDesign 2022 (v17.0.4), Adobe Illustrator 2022
• Windows: Adobe InDesign 2022 (v17.3.1)
