The Xinet 2021.7.4 release includes:
- Resolved XSS Vulnerability.
- Repaired Active Directory integration issues.
- Bootstrap version upgrade to 3.4.1 in Portal.
- General product quality improvements due to additional internal fixes.
- Resolved data inconsistencies with certain configurations and metadata.
Bug Fixes
This release also addresses multiple issues, including:
- XINET-20886 - Fixed cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability.
- XINET-20446 - TriggerSet properly removes expired files now.
- XINET-20784 - Users can now sign in with Active Directory credentials into the Portal.
- XINET-20825 - Batch Image Order now saves configurations correctly when JPEG is selected.
- XINET-20926 - Fixed issue where adding all items to a collection added parent folders.
- XINET-20889 - Corrected javascript redirection from SEARCHRESULTS page.
- 503 errors while revealing high-resolution images via Pilot have been addressed.
- Fixed blank Metadata tab for PDF files opened in Pilot.
- Corrected date metadata field saving time in 12-hour format.
Installation Instructions
The installation files for the latest version of Xinet can be found on the IgniteTech software distribution portal. Users upgrading from versions 2021.3 and earlier should note that they must recreate the Solr database and indices as a part of the installation process due to compatibility issues.
